This series got a lot of hate on reddit meanwhile its the only book series(with over 8 sequels )that I've ever completed. They make you feel guilty for liking stuffs due to their politics . I read all the books and love them.

Imagine if HBO would’ve gotten their hands on this series instead of FOX?

I'm sorry but the quad leader having a russian-ish accent made me giggle so hard. Def. not what I was expecting.

I'm at around 5 hours in, and I'm having trouble keeping myself listening because Richard is just. So. Fucking. Dumb. Actually, all the characters are. They're trying so hard to find a way around the boundary when they've literally encountered creatures that flew over it. Just fucking fly over it 😭 Mr Great Wizard clearly has Telekinesis, so there's no excuse.

This might be the best book reading I've ever heard. I started reading the book and wanted to find an audio version that I could listen to when I wasn't able to read. It's so good the way he uses different voices and accents for different people I've been spending more time listening than reading lately.

The thing I never understood about book one of this series is how focused it is on the fact that Richard and Kahlan can never be together. It goes on about how she can't control her powers if they get intimate. I'd just be like yeah we're in love in every capacity we just can't get all hot and heavy unless you used your power already and are on recharge. Solved.

I was bored AND disgusted by the mord sith chapters. It was the lamest part of the entire series but they certainly had their place later in the story.

i would enjoy it as well if this were made into a tv or hbo series it is a very adult book series that is definitely not the childish bs that was the legend of the seeker made by the three letter studios abc cbs nbc which is for a much different censured audience which has absolutely nothing in common with the subject matter that is the sword of truth book series by Terry Goodkind and not the harry potter crap that is the legend of the seeker im not sure how anyone could confuse one from the other but this is the correct channel to subscribe to for this story it is Terry Goodkind official channel this would be a cool adult themes magic series similar to lord of the rings or game of thrones more specifically would make for a very entertaining tv series

I come back to this series over and over. Been reading it for years. My absolute favorite out of all the books I have read. My next favorite is by Robert Jordan. The wheel of time series
